At the crossroads of Brussels, Liège and Charleroi lies a small and charming city called Namur. Its inhabitants are either young students from the university or old people living peacefully. No matter the age, they all like to enjoy a Belgian beer, share a meal in one of the many restaurants located in the pedestrian precinct and participate to the cultural events all year long. Namur is surrounded by two rivers and is dominated by the "Citadelle" built for Louis XIV. Don't miss the view from up there! But you can take your time to walk up there. After all, the emblem of the city is a snail.
