If it has a viking history and is next to a fjord, it is definitely in Norway. Drammen is located a short train ride from Oslo, making it so easy to visit while in the capital. It is the fastest growing city in Norway, meaning something "fishy" is going on that is worth exploring. (Talking about fishy, the Drammenselva river provides excellent opportunities for fishing!) After a grey industrial history the city now redefines itself as "The River City" — being a green and modern environmental freak city adorned with parks, green areas and not to forget: the fancy Ypsilon bridge, also known as the pride of Drammen. In the city centre you find the shops, cafes, bars, cool people, but also Aass, the first brewery in Norway that has kept the locals fresh and friendly since 1834.
